Spyro The Dragon is the first game in the series. It was released exclusively on Playstation in 1998, and ported to Playstation 3 and Playstation Portable via PSN in 2007. It was also made playable on the vita in late 2012. 


















PlotEdit

An angry monster named Gnasty Gnorc traps the dragons in stone and spyro has to save them. After doing so, he defeats gnasty gnorc.


GameplayEdit

Similar to Mario 64 and Donkey Kong 64, Spyro plays as a 3D platform game. Spyro goes through several worlds connected by hub worlds and collects gems, defeats enemies and does other things.

ReceptionEdit

The game recieved very high acclaim, and was given techincal achivements and praise at how insomniac was able to fit so many objects on screen with such large and expansive worlds on the playstation. The graphics were also noted to be some of the best on the console.
